[Help-gnu-radius] SQL Accounitng Time Zone problem

I have recently set up gnu-radius 1.2_2 accounting logging to mysql 3.23.55
database.  It is working with the exception of the acct_session_time is 4
hours off.  The time on both the radius server and the mysql server are
correct.

mysql   select now() displays correct time as well as show variables
displays timezone EDT

The radius.log file displays the correct time as well.  Any ideas to what is
happening?
