Normally this is the short hostname without the .what.ever on the
end (well that's the theory) but it isn't actually the hostedit
command but the internals. This ought to increase along with a whole
load of other stuff including the space for job strings.
I'm just about to put through a whole load of upgrades including a
new version of the Windows client stuff so I'll upgrade this
