We need new drivers for GNU Mach

Hi,
my issue is why don't create a interface to run BSD or Linux drivers in 
Gnu Mach in order to support new computers hardware? I've heard that a 
such project already exist. We need to provide new drivers to GNU Mach if 
we want to use GNU Hurd instead of Linux someday. May someone help me to 
know if a such project exist and where find documentations? Is this a 
reasonable project to start?
