alloca and sys_siglist

Hi!

I am trying to build (using build.sh) make 3.77 on a BS2000 POSIX system.
The compiles seem to go ok but the link ends with undefined symbols for
  
  alloca
  sys_siglist


I have tried to play with different options in the config.h file and the
make.h file, but nothing helps.  This system does not have gcc on it, we are
using the native compiler.  What can I do to resolve these symbols?
