Ok I know the cause of trouble already. I had macros
ARCH=$(shell uname)
DIR=$(ARCH)/$(STH)

and I used $(DIR) several hundreds times which caused shell to be executed so 
many times.
Using simply expanded variables (:=) solved the problem.
