Try pattern rules instead, they're more flexible. For example,
$(objdir)/%.o: $(srcdir)/%.cpp
command to build .o file
$(DEPSDIR)/%.moc: $(srcdir)/%.h
moc -o $@ $<

Create a rule to build the .Plo files. Then MAKE will know how to
make them.
