Yes, this is correct. The LogNormal_v form is just to be able to specify
a conjugate (inverse-gamma) 
prior for the variance in a normal model (in case you wanted it).

I wanted to make sure I was interpreting the manual correctly.  In
defining a LogNormal distribution, you input the geometric mean
(exponential of mean in log-space) and the geometric standard
deviation
(exponential of the standard deviation in log-space), BUT for
LogNormal_v you input the geometric mean and the variance in log-space
rather than the exponential of the variance in log-space.  Is this
correct?  Thanks!
