Control functions.

Hi Octavers,

I am a 4th year mechanical engineering student studying a number of 
different math packages to assertain thier usefulness to students.  I am 
particularly interested in the control aspects of these packages.  Also 
as an ongoing project I am extending some of the control functions of 
octave to make it more useful for students.

What new control functions are being put in the new release of octave?

Is there any use for the control functions I have been developing?

Sorry for the newbie approach taken but I wasn't exactly sure where
this letter was supposed to go and this is a help mailing list.
