deoctavate script?

Has anyone written a script to convert octave m-files to matlab
equivalents?  Mostly this would require changing the comment
character, though more sophisticated things like expanding ++ and +=
operators and flipping the order of xlabel and plot could be done.
Come to think of it, something to go the other way would be nice
as well, assuming we have to live with the different semantics of
plot on Matlab and in Octave.
