Hi,

`I'm fairly new on this wavelet stuff and need to do a DWT using a
``daubechies wavelet (my first wavelet foray). I have a few questions:
`

`Is there a free package that implements DWT and IDWT? (I found
``libwaili for debian - but is there a port for Mac OS X?)
`

`How do I construct a daubechies wavelet with 10 vanishing moments for
``use with DWT or is there a good resource for learning how to do this?
`

`I'm confused about what's a coefficient. I know that DWT yields a
``series of coefficients and to produce a scalogram, you plot the energy
``versus wavelet scale. My understanding is that energy is the sum of
``the squares of the coefficients at each scale level, but don't I only
``have one coefficient per scale level? I'm going to go to the library
``today to read the daubechies '92 paper, so I may end up finding these
``answers, but if anyone can explain it, I'd appreciate it.
`
Thanks,
Rob
