Hello, I programmed a audio->midi converter using octave under windows, now
I am trying to run it under linux but it does not run, is there an
incompatibility between windows and linux (debian-knoppix) versions? Under
Windows I'm using 2.1.31 and under linux 2.1.51.
The only trouble i found is when a function returns a vector, under windows
its a row, and under linux it's a column, but, is possible programming OS
independent?
Unlikely. It is probably one of the many, many changes between Octave 2.1.31
(dated July 2000) and 2.1.52 (November 2003). You may have meant 2.1.36, but
even the relatively shorter span (May 2002) masks the rather dramatic
changes in Octave.
