my "make" version is 3.80 so it's not too old i guess and after doing
"make"
i get the following output
make -f octMakefile all
make[1]: -e: command not found
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/polrus/tmp/octave-2.1.64'
make[1]: -e: command not found
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/polrus/tmp/octave-2.1.64'
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/polrus/tmp/octave-2.1.64'
making octave-bug from octave-bug.in
/bin/sh: -e: command not found
/bin/sh: -e: command not found
make[1]: *** [octave-bug] Błąd 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/polrus/tmp/octave-2.1.64'
make: *** [all] Błąd 2
Yoper linux is a "hotstuf" distro so for example many new command syntaxes
will be used in near future in other ditros - so probably as in some cases
i've already expirienced it means there's some kind of old syntax in
octMakefile or something
