I put this in my functions:
if(exist('OCTAVE_VERSION'))
old_silent_functions = silent_functions;
silent_functions = 0;
end
if(exist('OCTAVE_VERSION'))
silent_functions = old_silent_functions;
end
And keep commas instead of semicolons, to allow for easier Matlab
integration.
