Henry,
your version of AquaTerm is more than 3 years old. At least some of
your problems would be solved if you downloaded
gnuplot 4.0 and AquaTerm 1.0.b2 and installed them. Both are available
as standard Mac installer packages from http://aquaterm.sourceforge.net
and http://gnuplot.sourceforge.net
You will (most likely) also need to specify
gnuplot_binary="/usr/local/bin/gnuplot" in a (hidden) file named
.octaverc in your home directory (create it if necessary) to override
the gnuplot installed by Fink.
