It should be remembered that gcc-4.x is a big step because of the the
introduction of tree-ssa and the problem of lack of support for g77.
The ramifications for the likes of octave are likely to be felt for a
while yet. It is highly encouraging that some successful builds are
being reported.
RedHat tends to apply their own patches. Since it was Jakub Jelinek
(address@hidden) who fix the ENTRY problem I suspect that he
might have patched RH rpms as well...
I cannot test it myself since I do not have computer with Fedora
test release.
