Hi all,
I’ve had to reinstall Cygwin, thus Octave and Octave-forge and I’ve got new problems:
If I try to install octave 2.1.70 from the beginning, I’ve got the following error during the make:
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.3.3/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld: cannot find –lglob
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [liboctave.dll] Error 1
After have run a ./configure –enable-shared.
I might have to precise that I am under Windows XP and I had managed (thanks to your help…) to install the 2.1.67 version.
Now, if I try to use the PSOctave2170 directly, putting everything in /usr/local, it does work but when I want to install the octave-forge 2004.11.16, when I try to configure it, I’ve got the following error:
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.3.3/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld: cannot find –loctinterp
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
configure: error: Could not run mkoctfile
(If I find mkoctfile, it does exist under /usr/local/bin).
So, once more, I am stuck. Anybody to help me around?
Cheers,
Carine.
