Create a file in your home directory (the default directory when you
start Cygwin) called .gnuplot and add the command 'set mouse' (no
quotations). This will allow you to zoom by using the right mouse
button (press 'u' to unzoom) and you can mark points by clicking the
center button (may be scroll wheel button, depends on mouse). This
will also allow you to rotate 3-D plots if you so choose. Hope it
helps.

Subject: Use gnuplot 4.0 with octave 2.1.73
To: address@hidden
Hello,
I have octave 2.1.73 and gnuplot 4.0 installed on my cygwin. I
would
like to use this gnuplot version with octave because it allows to
zome
and put markers by using mouse clicks directly on the figure. When
I
plot a curve from octave it opens on a new window which does not
allow
to do mouse zooming and cursor marking!
Any one has a solution to this problem?
Thanks a lot for your help
Aimad
