My problem is to find a convenient way to superpose

Do you mean something like that:
x=linspace(-10,10,101);
y1 = sin(x);
plot(x, y1,"-r;Sin;") # plot 1
hold on
y2 = 2+cos(x);
plot(x-20, y2, "-b;Cos;") # plot 2
