extract texinfo from DLDs?

hi,

I have seen in octave-forge that the declaration of a DLD includes a
documentation
in texinfo format, like this one:

DEFUN_DLD(legendre_sphPlm_array, args, nargout, "\
   -*- texinfo -*-\n\
  @deftypefn {Loadable Function} address@hidden =} legendre_sphPlm_array
(@var{lmax},  @var{m}, @var{x})\n\ [...]
 @end deftypefn")

this documentation is used for the online help at Octave's prompt.
is it also extracted to build a standalone (HTML or PDF) documentation?
