Hi,

I got the octave2.9.13 from Sourceforge but the communications package doesn't work. When I type "pkg list" it appear as installed in "..\share\octave\packages\communications-1.0.2" but when I try to load the package it says that this directory was not found (and it really doesn't exists). That's why I have tried to re-install the package

(and the octave has found the C compiler, I have got another error before, but then I have installed gcc, it has found the compiler but still doesnt work... and I also have the MVStudio installed... )

Vanessa,

Where did you get the windows 2.9.13 install from? Octave-forge? If so
then the latest communications package is already in the installer and
it is selected by default. Type "pkg list" and see if it is listed. Then
to really confirm it is there type "gf(1)"....

Note "cl" is the Microsoft Visual Studio linker and the error means that
you don't have MSVC installed. Look at the README that came with the
installer. This is explained there...
