GCJ is currently not supported/tested. David has tried it under Linux
with the java package, but it didn't work. You need Sun JDK to compile
the java (and jhandles) package.

Until you find a way to make the java package work on your cygwin
system, I suggest that you simply remove the java package. This should
suppress the error message you get.
