I have no knowledge here, but I'm curious: what is "the native eigs"
command? From what I know, 'eigs' is only available through ARPACK.

The current development sources has the 'display' function. It seems to
me like this function is only relevant if you do object oriented
programming, which is only supported in the development sources anyway.
So, can't you just use 'disp' ?
