Dear List,
I have developped scripts to do heavy number crunching which I would like
to run in the background like this
nohup octave script.m >& nohup.out &
The output consists in Postscript plots which I only want to look at once
the job has finished.
Question: how do I have to set the terminal to avoid lots of graphics plot
commands in my nohup.out file?
In the scripts I first call plot(...) followed by print -dpsc2
sincerely -R. Widmer-Schnidrig
PS: my system: SuSE Linux 11.2 / Octave 3.0.1
