I seem to miss something. Is this normal?

octave> version
ans = 3.2.4

octave> rfh = @(r) feval (r);
octave> rfh(@rand)
ans =  0.13436
octave> cellfun (rfh, {"rand"})
ans =  0.84743

octave> rfh = @(r) feval (r, "state", 1);
octave> rfh(@rand)
octave> cellfun (rfh, {"rand"})
error: octave_base_value::resize (): wrong type argument `<unknown type>'

Why the error? What am I doing wrong?
