Greetings,
I am attempting to compile octave-3.3.53 on a computer with these:-
--cpu amd64 2 cores
--o/s cblfs linux S4-bit gcc-4.4.2 kernel-2.6.32, Atlas3.9.32/lapack3.2.
SuiteSparse-3.4.0 and arpac-0.92
I compiled the SutieSparse modules and arpac and linked these to atlas
and lapack libraries. I am however finding that the configure script of
octave-3.3.53 is refusing to recognise arpack and umfpack (for both so-
libs and static libs).
I would be grateful if anyone on list could explain if libraries linked to
atlas and lapack (compiled with gfortran) pose problems for building
octave-3.3.53.) AND/or provide some guidance to overcome the problems.
thanks in advance
