I also get errors on the "help" function depending on my directory.  When I
start in my home directory ("I:" on the network), "help dlmread" works as
expected.  When I cd to some other volume ("Z:") on the network, I get this:

This used to happen only when I had cd'ed to a directory in the "new" double
backslash volume notation ("\\foo\bar\...")
