thank you so much for your help!!! 

I'm feeling ashamed...I was not in the correct directory....I apologize for
the stupid problems I find. I need to get some exercise!!! 

Finally fid=3!!! :) so it's fine!!! 

But if I try with

dlmread ("prova1.txt", "\t", 1,0)

and now it works!!!!

I'm going to work on the script for solving the differential equations...I
hope to succeed but.....if I don't I'll look for your help again!!! :)
