I am away from my PC for a few days but will check this when I return. I
may not have chosen the correct BLAS library, I just got the error from
configure that there was no BLAS so I added one from the package manager
and the message went away. What is the correct BLAS package I should be
be looking for?
Is there any script available to automatically install all the correct
Octave dependencies, using apt-get commands or something like this?
There were other things I had problems with such as GraphicsMagic and
OpenGL.
I found the
export FFLAGS="-ff2c"
solution by googling for the error message I received from configure
which led me to these threads on the mailing list
