Won't be the only case of discontent with 4.1.2/4.1 series.
However, until I'd upgrade the compiler, am I seriously crippling my
installation by working without those three lines of code?
Also, I've received an advice to run with `ulimit -s unlimited'. Would this
be a better solution (until, of course, I'd upgrade the compiler)?
