Are you sure that what you are trying to do is possible at least with matlab?
I never heared about the chance of running matlab on a microcontroller.
A chance would be MAYBE to chose a high end platform capable to run linux,
and running octave on this..
(in this case you should however recompile octave for your platform).
Old fashion solution is: try alghorithm under matlab/octave, when you have
it running, translate to C for your processor.
