Hi, I have recently been able to configure octave (with very little warnings at the end) and then I compiled it using "make" and once it got done it had the following errors and I was wondering what they were and what they meant and what I should do or shouldn't do to NOT have any problems in the future working with my octave:
sh: makeinfo: not found error: makeinfo failed with exit status 127! error: called from: error: /home/yashar/Downloads/octave-3.4.3/doc/interpreter/mk_doc_cache.m at line 68, column 3
However if I type in "./run-octave" it works, but I obviously haven't checked all the features.
The compilation took about 2hrs or 1:30hrs, if there is only ONE or FEW things that I should fix/download/install etc. to get rid of this can I avoid recompiling the whole thing or is that a no go?
I'd appreciate your help very much, Yashar -- Yashar Mehmani Dept. of Petroleum & Geosystems Engineering The University of Texas at Austin 1 University Station, C0300 Austin, TX 78712-0228
