I have just installed Octave 3.8 on my Windows 7 machine from
http://mxeoctave.osuv.de/. It appears as if no packages are installed with Octave and I haven't found a way to download/install all packages at once, so I am doing them one at a time using
pkg install -forge <package_name>. It's quite tedious and I have to work through all the dependencies by hand. Is there an easier way?
