Hello All,

I've installed Octave 4.0 through Cygwin and have been struggling with
instrument-control package. I can load the package but even the simple
serial interface does not seem to exist:

octave:1> version
ans = 4.0.0
octave:2> pkg load instrument-control
octave:3> exist("serial")
ans = 0

I have this package working on my native windows install but I'm
trying to
get it going in Cygwin to get the VXI11 interface
(  I will
eventually have
to find rpcgen in cygwin for that interface but I'd like to get basic
working first.

It seems I forgot at least a portion, building the package from source

Let me check a bit.

JustjUploaded a new cygwin package

give some time to the mirrors to propagate it.

octave:1> pkg load instrument-control
octave:2> exist("serial")
ans =  3

Also the VXI11 interface should be available but I can not test it.
