Also, since you have a German mail address, I can recommend the
following book: Volker Grassmuck, “Freie Software – Zwischen Privat- und
Gemeineigentum” [1], Section “Anwender von freier Software”, page 339.

        „Hauptgewinner sind die Anwender, die den Gebrauchswert der Programme
erhalten. Ob private Anwender oder Systemverwalter, sie können sich aus
dem Pool freier Software selbständig bedienen und von den Vorteilen …
profitieren. …“

The section and the book as a whole are very interesting read. You may
order a gratis copy or use the PDF version.
