I couldn't install octave 4.2 on trisquel 7. So following the advice in this
thread, I installed Debian jessie (8.7).
>From the wiki, I obtained and followed instructions. Except two
dependencies, I installed all others. These two I couldn't install:
openjdk-7-jdk and libgraphicsmagick++1-dev
Can someone guide me to install these?
