Hi -- thanks for debugging.  I know what the solution is (use a separate
gnulib directory for db/) but it requires a bit of work...  it affects
other platforms as well, so it is good to fix.

Is there any chance that squeeze will use the freebsd 8.0 kernel
instead, which (apparently) would make this problem go away?
