Hi Colin,
Although 'C-h b' does not show the describe-bindings page,
it does invoke the Basic Commands window.
In standalone info, that `Basic Commands' window actually shows every
binding.
Also, is there a function that moves forward in the Info-history list?
Not that I know of (in either standalone info or emacs info). I admit
I've missed such a command myself on occasion. I guess the idea is that
it's just as easy to redo the commands as to explicitly move "forward".
Is it possible to invoke an arbitrary command?
ESC x command-name RET
just as in Emacs.
HTH.
