[help-texinfo] Tex From Texi

I am not subscribed to the list so please e-mail me directly.

when texi2dvi runs and converts a .texi file into a .tex file, it must first 
take the .texi file and create an intermediate .tex file.  It must then be 
calling tex on the intermediate .tex file and once the .dvi is created, then 
it must somehow be deleting the intermediate file.

How do I look at this intermediate .tex file?
