Back on this message from about a month ago ...

I've just added a @euro{} command to Texinfo (in the development
sources), so it should be in the next release.  If anyone working with
Texinfo from CVS feels like testing it now, so much the better.

@currency{} will have to wait a bit.  I assume it's not as important.
