[VCDImager] Chapters

This is a common question although I have not seen any
great answers to the question.  I downloaded the
latest (unstable) version of vcdimager and would like
to make chapters in a movie that is about 45 minutes
in length.  From what I can gather you should be able
to use the xml file to generate these chapters or
entry points without having to split up the mpg file. 
I have tried splitting the file and burning with Nero,
setting the pause after track to 0.  This seems to
work but I would prefer (and it would be much easier)
if you could do this with a single mpeg and then add
the entry points in the xml file.

I tried using one of the example files from web page
without success.  I am trying to burn an SVCD.  Any
information would be greatly appreciated.
