2. Install the libxml2 library and its development package from Fink
or DarwinPorts. Personally I recommend downloading Fink from
http://www.finkproject.org
I just realized that libxml2 itself is part of OS X, so there is no
need to download and compile it separately. If the "xml2-config"
script is present on your computer (try to run xml2-config from the
Terminal), it should work as is, so you can skip step 2.
