Yes, there is -- look it up in the paper of Barabasi and Albert ;) In theory,
the model generates networks where the degree distribution is a power-law with
gamma=3. There is a function called power.law.fit in igraph which you can use
to find out the actual exponent, but it's gonna fluctuate a bit due to
finite-size effects.
