[igraph] persisting graph and cross-process igraph

[igraph] persisting graph and cross-process igraph

Is there a recommended serial format for saving graphs to disk or passing them over the wire, especially if I have python-igraph on one side and the c library on the other? I'm especially interested in preserving a lot of the node and edge label information.
