1.11 and update output that lies |

Have recently updated to 1.11 cvs on the server side. I have noticed
that when I do a ;
cvs up -A
over the source tree, I get `M' in the update output column for all
binary files - suggesting that I have them locally modified, but this
is not the case. I'm using cvs.exe 1.10.5 under nt with pserver, and
1.11 on the repository host machine.
Is this a known feature of 1.11 that it is verbose (and lies).
Also the official win32 binary for 1.11 hasn't yet appeared on
ftp.cvshome.org, is this a bad sign, i.e. it is broken ?
thanks,
davidp.
