I'm not sure when the edit, watch, and notify features made their way into CVS.
The patches extend (and sometimes fix) the already-existing functionality.  Read
the docs for more info.

Thank you for your suggestion.
Does this mean that if I don't use the
patches above the edits, watches commands
will not work with my version as it is?
(it is cvs 1.10, but I can't tell which
version further as is the only information
I can get with cvs -v)

Can you also tell me where SourceForge
is located?
