Read the message again -- it doesn't say you need id, it says you need
an id that understands the -u and -n flags, which Sun's /usr/bin/id does
not. If you have the XPG4 stuff installed, you'll have more luck if you
put /usr/xpg4/bin in your PATH ahead of /usr/bin, but you may still have
to use some GNU utilities to get the tests to work. See TESTS in the
source distribution for more information.
