logging into winCVS

Hi,

I am new to using CVS.  I think I have installed the winCVS correctly, but I am not able to login.  When I try to login I get this error message.  I am using CVS on local machine.  Is there a way to use CVS without login in? 

Set the password authentication first in the preferences !
