That implies that you're doing a checkout into an existing directory;
you should let checkout create a new directory instead.

That means you have a large (79MB) [binary?] file in your repository and
you're running out of (virtual) memory on the server machine. You need
to increase the amount of virtual memory available on the server and/or
increase the CVS server's per-process limit.
