You should never get that message unless you specify the -n (no execute)
option. Are you running the current release of CVS (1.11.2)? If not,
try upgrading (www.cvshome.org). If you still have problems, it would
be helpful if you could come up with a complete scenario to reproduce
the problem -- I didn't spend much time on it, but it seems to work for
me.
