That means that your CVS was compiled with SETXID_SUPPORT defined and
you have the sgid bit set on the executable. I don't know what you're
trying to do (and I suspect you don't, either), but my suggestion is to
undo both of those things (although undoing either one should be
sufficient to avoid your current problem).
